Well, really this story begins at Pizza Gusto the night before we left at 3:45 AM to drive 16 hours to Panama City Beach in Florida. I met a bunch of girlfriends from college for dinner. It always thrills me to see them! They are a group of friends that can instantly pick up in seconds, and it is like months and years had never separated us.
Well, long story short, my dear friend Amy came to dinner that night in the most adorable dress! I eyed it all night, wishing I had found something like it for our upcoming family pictures on the beach. As the evening winded down, I told her, “Ah, your dress! It’s just what I was looking for, but I couldn’t find!”
And, without one skip of a beat, she said, “Let’s go into the bathroom and swap dresses, and you can take it with you to Florida!”.
LADIES… (and the two gentlemen that might be reading this… “hi, dad”) THAT IS FRIENDSHIP!!!!!!! Suddenly I felt like we were roommates again swapping clothes for a date party! But, Amy has always been known to be selfless and giving of anything she had, so how could I expect anything different.
So, we marched back to the bathrooms, closed the stall doors, and swapped dresses, like normal every day life. My life is boring… this was excitement for me; walking out of the bathroom in a different dress!
Okay, well, with that story in mind, I wanted to share some of our family pictures from vacation. It was a dreamy vacation… complete with pounds and pounds of shrimp, hours on the beach and not a care in the world! Not to mention the cutest dress!! I am so thankful.
ALSO… I hope you enjoy the new blog facelift! I have some exciting news to share soon… eeeeeek! Can’t wait!
Kristi from Allure Photography did a fantastic job on our family pics, she is based out of Panama City, FL!
Also, I want to mention Neely Jacobson Photography, who did my head shots. (She is a dear friend of mine!) She does most of our family pictures here in Okc, and she has a magical way to make you look skinny and beautiful, I highllllly recommend her!!! (Christmas pics are just around the corner!)
MIA!!! She is my cousin who is going off to college this semester!!
THANKS FOR READING, FRIENDS!
